I needed to hear this today, a day where I would rather excommunicate myself from society than be a part of it. I’m sure you have days like today, too.
What gets me through these days is art, so there really should be no better time to create than on one of these days.
Now to just go out and do it.

I did it, in some ways (still more to do, namely finishing up my story).
After I stepped away from this post, I wrote a short poem about how to remedy my disgust with the day.
Let me be clear: I am not pursuing a career as a poet. But I do enjoy writing it for myself and sharing it, at times, with my friends. They have received a few of my poems well. Perhaps one day I will find the guts to post a few of them!
